Spiritual Care Services of Maine

Providing professional, compassionate, spiritual care to individuals, groups, and organizations with today’s religious and spiritual landscape in mind.

We are here when you need us.

Spiritual Care Services of Maine offers a non-anxious and supportive listening presence for people across the state of Maine.

Our clinically trained chaplains are equipped to offer stress, anxiety, and crisis management to individuals and within group settings.

SCS Maine provides inclusive spiritual care for people of any faith or tradition or no faith or tradition.

We serve all people, and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, disability, age, ancestry, genetic information, addiction, incarceration, housing, or military/veteran status.

Were you, your family, or business impacted by the winter storms of late 2023 and early 2024? SCS Maine chaplains are available to talk over the phone or to visit your home or business to offer emotional and spiritual support heading into this winter season.

This service is sponsored by StrengthenME, Maine's Department of Health and Human Services, and is 100% free, anonymous, and confidential.

SCS Maine believes in the inherent worth and dignity of all people and offers non-judgemental support in all encounters.

Chaplains from Spiritual Care Services of Maine are a consistent, compassionate presence for people who are desperately in need of a sense of belonging and connection. They are active listeners who know how to make people feel cared for, heard and seen. We are incredibly grateful that they are a part of our care team here.
