All SCS Maine Chaplains and employees abide by a strict code of ethics including protecting the privacy of all citizens that it serves. When someone calls in or emails a request for a chaplain to call, their information is used only for the purposes of getting in touch. Once that call is finished, the chaplain deletes or erases all identifying information from their files and any notes that they record for managerial purposes refer to that visit by a case number instead of by name, thus insuring each client’s personal information is completely safe-guarded.
